Just a quick success story.

Bill Gibbs (Bryan’s Ace – Keystone Heights, Interlachen, Starke, Melrose) built an 8’ Lozier case with class doors and shelves then plexiglass mirror on the back for a knife display. Bill did that back in October and began seeing some immediate success versus the knife cases we usually have at the conventions. 
He then started researching some knife suppliers and found; Blue Ridge Knives 800-635-2583.
Bill started selecting knives to order (over $3,000 since November) from the catalog and increased what he stocked from the Ace RSC. Bill then added another 8’ display in Keystone before Thanksgiving and stocked up. The result is that in December 2008 he sold $519 worth of knives and this year thru 12/23/09 he has sold over $4,000 retail knife sales. There other 3 stores still have the 8’ displays and each sold around $160 last year and have sold over $1,000 this year in December. 
Bill is passionate about building sales and is always looking for ways to build repeat traffic and give one more reason why they should shop at Ace. Kudos to Bill for his success and his willingness to share with other retailers.
